Which makes no sense, since I should be happy as hell, for various reasons, that I won’t dive into right now.
Everything is going great, but for some reason, I’m kinda depressed.
It’s a great day, but a dangerous path lies ahead, when a “great day” is vouched out of habit rather than true belief, much like what happens when people say stuff like “thank god”, but they actually don’t consider god as an existing entity let alone the reason of that event happening (the one they thank him for).
So saying “It’s a great day” without actually believing is worthless, dangerous and all in all a bad idea.
However, due to the simple fact that I got a raise, It’s a Great Day, Great among Great, finger-licking awesome.
