Yesterday[1], I had a date with a girl that went to high school with me, a long time ago.
We were supposed to meet at 8 pm somewhere downtown.
She didn’t show up.
Somehow, I wasn’t disappointed, since I actually expected her not to show up.
This raises an interesting question: “WHY in the hell would I want her not to show up?”,
the answer is “I did wanted her to come, but I kinda knew she wouldn’t”, and WHY did I “knew”
she wouldn’t?, because I have learnt from life, that when you expect nothing, It’s hard to be
disappointed.
In fact, it is actually easier to be /surprised/, than disappointed.

update: I called he again, just to be “surprised” by her not showing up, again.
